It specializes in key-value stores, shared-nothing databases, complex data types, user-defined functions, digital transformation, etc. The company caters to advertising, marketing, banking, e-commerce, financial services, and other sectors.
We successfully hired a Japan Country Manager for Aerospike through our innovative recruiting efforts and broad network of Japanese technology professionals in Silicon Valley and Japan.

Finding the right candidate for a key role like the Japan Country Manager is a challenging task, especially when it comes to recruiting from a different country. However, we were able to overcome this challenge by utilizing our extensive network of Japanese technology professionals in Silicon Valley and Japan.
First, we leveraged our professional network in Silicon Valley to reach out to Japanese ex-pats who are working in the technology industry in the area. We were able to connect with a number of highly qualified candidates who were interested in returning to Japan to take on a leadership role.
In addition to our network in Silicon Valley, we also tapped into our network in Japan by reaching out to our contacts at leading technology companies and startups. We were able to connect with a number of highly qualified candidates who were interested in the opportunity to lead Aerospike’s expansion in Japan.
To further increase the chances of finding the right candidate, we also utilized a variety of recruiting tools and platforms. For example, we posted job listings on a number of online job boards and professional networking sites, both in Japan and in Silicon Valley.
We also turned to our own team members to leverage their own networks. We asked them to refer potential candidates whom they know and work with. This gave us access to a great number of potential candidates, which we were able to interview and assess for the role.
Through our innovative recruiting efforts and broad network, we were able to identify and hire an excellent candidate for the Japan Country Manager role. So far he is doing a great job in leading Aerospike’s expansion in Japan and driving the company’s growth in the region.
